Anxiety, panic attacks, depression, unprocessed childhood trauma, the aftermath of a break-up, feelings of "stuckness," there are many reasons people decide to start psychotherapy.

It's uniquely designed to lessen emotional pain and mental anguish. It offers insight into harmful patterns and repetitions. It provides a space for new ways of thinking.

Understanding your feelings and behaviours is the first step towards making positive, lasting change, to discovering your authentic self, and to developing true resilience.

I see patients remotely via Zoom, WhatsApp, and telephone as well as in person out of my home in Amaranth, Ontario, five minutes outside of Orangeville. Please note that some private insurance covers the services of a Registered Psychotherapist but it is important to check with your provider. For foreign students, my services are UHIP eligible. My fee is $180/session. I see people in full psychoanalysis (4xweek) on a sliding scale. I do not see people less than once a week.

Contact me by phone (416-274-1001) or email (karenbridget@gmail.com) to set up our initial talk. All communications between us will be treated in confidence. I reply to all inquiries promptly.

In addition to providing psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, I teach at the ATPPP and offer clinical supervision in psychodynamic psychotherapy.
